Health & Safety regulations and legislation
Pre-use daily checks, inspection and function tests
Safe use of MEWPs and limitations of use
Ground and site conditions
Safe operating techniques
Emergency lowering techniques
Multiple choice test paper
Practical demonstrating test

Objectives

The IPAF Demonstrator Course is to acquaint operators with the limitations of MEWPs (mobile elevating work platforms). Furthermore, it will train a demonstrator to familiarise operators with their responsibilities and demonstrate pre-operational and safe operating procedures.
