Congratulations to the Winners of Build Your Future 2022/23

On the 22nd March we ran the Build Your Future 2022.23 Final - funded by Grampian Construction Training and CITB, where S2 Aberdeen pupils went head-to-head competing for the coveted BYF trophy.

16 teams of 10 took part in the initial heats in December, with 6 teams making it through to this year's final.

All teams in the final participated in some fantastic construction-based tasks ran by Leiths-Group, CITB, Faithful + Gould, Robert Gordon University, Balfour Beattie and Ledingham Chalmers, which helped immerse the pupils in the construction industry and tested their skills.

This year's winners were…

Ist place - Meldrum Academy
2nd place - Mackie Academy
3rd place - Inverurie Academy

Thank you to all the schools that participated and to everyone who helped us out, and special thanks to Scott Sutherland School of Architecture and Built Environment for providing us with a great venue.
